About DDMP
The EC motor runs without slip losses, so it consumes significantly less power than conventional AC motors. Importantly, this holds at every speed, including partial-load operation: the EC motor uses less power than an AC motor under all operating conditions and gives a significantly higher drive system (motor and control) efficiency.
