Caryaire louver model IL350 is an extruded aluminium drainable louver designed for superior resistance to water penetration.
Drainable louvers have gutters at the front edge of each blade, which stop rainwater droplets cascading from blade to blade and being carried into the intake airflow. Vertical gutters in the jamb frame carry the water to the sill frame, where it leaves the louver assembly. Drainable intake and exhaust louvers generally resist water penetration better than conventional louvers.
