Emotron VSX

The VSX series offers customised solutions for your application. Its LCD graphical display gives a user-friendly interface, and set-up gets your system up and running in time.

Emotron VSX is a general purpose drive for variable and constant torque applications. With V/f and sensorless vector control modes, it suits fans, pumps, compressors, conveyors, cranes, mixers, SPMs and similar machinery.

The detachable LCD graphical display and parameter copy function let OEMs programme multiple similar units in very little time. A built-in PID controller ensures smooth, superior control of process parameters, while 16 pre-set speeds, 4 acceleration and deceleration ramps and a variety of ramp curves help create complicated speed patterns for the finest process control.

For quick, application-specific set-up, the VSX includes application macros such as wobbulation control, brake control, length count and multi-step speed control. Modbus 485 communication allows the plant control system to monitor and control it.

As standard, the VSX has coated boards and is designed for 50°C ambient temperature, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments and ensuring safe, cost-efficient operation of demanding process applications.
