RTR / RTR+OCS

RTR has a UL recognized temperature sensor that cuts the electric supply to the damper actuator when the temperature exceeds 165 deg F, while the OCS indicates whether the damper is open or closed. RTR is always provided in fire and fire & smoke dampers operated by electric actuators; RTR + OCS is supplied when requested. Both are installed in the factory.

In a fire, the RTR closes and locks the damper when the temperature exceeds 165 deg F. Once the fire condition has ended, the damper can be reopened by pressing the reset button on the RTR or RTR + OCS. RTR is available with one or two temperature sensors.
